Description
The modular clean air handling unit offers airflow from 3000 to 200,000 m³/h. This unit is ideal for air purification in various cleanroom workshops. These include industrial electronics, precision machinery plants, and textile workshops. It also suits automotive spray booths, GMP pharmaceutical plants, and cosmetics factories. Food processing plants, pure water workshops, hospital operating rooms, and ICUs can also use this unit.
Modular air handling units lack their own cooling or heating source. They rely on chilled or hot water or steam as a medium. These units handle air filtration, heating, cooling, and humidification. Noise reduction, heat recovery, and fresh air treatment are also performed. For instance, in a secondary return air system, the unit filters fresh air, removing dust. After initial heating, air moves into a spray chamber for humid heat treatment. Cooling, dehumidification, and secondary return air mixing complete the process.
Functional Sections of the Modular Air Handling Unit
a. Fresh Air Ventilation Section: This section includes supply and exhaust fans with a heat exchange core. The core transfers temperature between indoor exhaust air and fresh outdoor air.
b. Filtration Section: The section provides three levels of filtration: primary, medium, and high. It includes diamond-shaped bag filters and an automatic winding filter. The filter uses high-quality polyester non-woven fabric. Quick assembly and disassembly mechanisms are included. The section also has pressure displays and alarms.
c. New and Exhaust Air Section: This section, also called the flat-top mixing section, has a primary return air damper. Before and after the damper, there are an exhaust outlet and a fresh air inlet with adjustment valves.
d. Energy Recovery Section: This section performs cross-flow air mixing and energy recovery. It includes a primary return air damper and an energy recovery unit. The unit uses exhaust air to cool or heat fresh air indirectly. Fresh air passes through a plate-type energy recovery device. It can recover about 60% of the exhaust air’s thermal energy.
e. Cooling Coil Section: The cooling coil uses copper tubes with aluminum fins, available in four to eight rows. The aluminum fins have double flanged, corrugated edges. A large bend pipe heat exchanger reduces welded elbows by 60%. This design enhances heat exchange efficiency. Advanced mechanical tube expansion ensures optimal contact.
f. Silencing Section: The micro-perforated plate silencer is made from 1mm metal plates. It has a perforation rate of 1% to 3% and holes smaller than 1mm.
Product Benefits
- Modular Design, Flexible Configuration: The modular design allows users to combine different functional modules. Users can choose modules like cooling, heating, humidification, and filtration. This flexibility creates optimal solutions for various environments.
- High Efficiency and Energy Savings: The unit uses advanced energy-saving technologies. Efficient cooling and heating systems reduce operating costs for users.
- Easy Installation and Maintenance: The modular design simplifies installation and maintenance. Each module operates independently, making it easy to service. This reduces downtime and maintenance costs.
