For fan coil unit installation, what else should be paid attention to?
- Equip the inlet and outlet pipes with valves to adjust the water volume, or use an electric valve together with a thermostat to control it, when installing the FCU.
- Before purchasing a fan coil unit, determine the location of the water inlet pipe and the water outlet pipe in the installation environment, so as to determine the direction of the water inlet and outlet of the fan coil unit.
The fan coil unit has left inlet (outlet) water and right inlet (outlet) water, which is to match the water pipe arrangement of your installation environment and facilitates installation.
3. How to judge the left and right ports of the fan coil?
I suggest you do this, it is easier to judge the right and left ports of the fan coil unit.
When judging, you should face the air outlet. If the water inlet and outlet are on the left side, it is the left water inlet, and if it is on the right side, it is the right water inlet. Most of the vertical surface-mounted coils are for the rear outlet (inlet) water.
4. The inlet and outlet water pipes of the fan coil unit: bottom in and top out.
Note:
A. When taking over, too much force will damage the FCU.
B. The inlet and outlet pipes should be insulated, and the threaded connection should be sealed with PTFE raw tape. The drainage pipe should maintain a sufficient slope to facilitate the timely discharge of condensed water.
5. The drawings and the civil construction ceiling height should determine the installation height and position of the FCU, to prevent the air outlet from being unable to install downward or sideways.
Consider the elevation of the water inlet and outlet pipes and the slope of the condensate water pipes at the same time. Match it with the drawings before installation, and consider professional issues comprehensively before construction.
