Today, I exchanged the topic of air conditioner water machine and fluorine machine with a home improvement customer.
In fact, domestic air-conditioning water machines have existed for a long time, but fluorine machines are strong in the domestic field, and few people know about fan-coil water machines, which have high price and low recognition.
Many customers’ understanding of air-conditioning water machines is just hearsay: water machines are more comfortable than fluorine machines. Then, why is the comfort of air-conditioned water machine higher than that of fluorine machine? Why doesn’t it feel very dry at home?
There are differences in working principles
First of all, domestic air-conditioning water machines and fluorine machines rely on compressors and freons to realize refrigeration or heating.
The difference lies in that in the heat exchanger inside the main engine, freon exchanges secondary heat with water, and then the water pump delivers cold water or hot water to the indoor fan coil, and the indoor temperature is adjusted after blowing by the fan coil.
There is no secondary heat exchange in the air conditioner fluorine machine, and the main freon enters the indoor machine directly through the copper pipe, and the indoor temperature is adjusted after blowing.
Comfort is different
Simply put, the main differences between air-conditioning fan coil water machine and fluorine machine are as follows:
1. The principle is different. There is secondary heat exchange in air-conditioning water machine, but there is no secondary heat exchange in air-conditioning fluorine machine.
2. Different coolant. The coolant of air-conditioning water machine is water or its substitute. The air conditioner fluorine machine is freon.
3. Different motivation. The circulation of air-conditioning water machine depends on built-in water pump; Air conditioner fluorine machine depends on the pressure of compressor.
4. The whole system is different. The air conditioning water machine will add an additional energy storage tank to the system; Air conditioner fluorine machine does not.
These differences correspond to the reasons why air-conditioning water machines are more comfortable than fluorine machines:
Reason one: the secondary heat exchange makes the outlet temperature of the water machine closer to the human body, and the temperature difference is small
In the secondary heat exchange of air-conditioning water machine, the heat capacity of water is larger than that of freon, the outlet temperature is generally 15~18℃ in summer and 38~40℃ in winter, and the temperature difference in the heat exchange process is only about 5 degrees, so the outlet air is soft and comfortable.
However, the outlet temperature of fluorine machine is quite different from that of human body, which is usually 7~12℃ in summer and 48~55℃ in winter. The cooling and heating speed is fast, but the temperature difference is 7~15℃, which is relatively large.
On this point, friends who use hang-up or cabinet machines are deeply touched in summer. If the temperature is lowered, the cold wind blowing out from the tuyere will bring bitter chill.
The second reason: the coolant is water, the power system is water pump, and the external energy storage tank makes the cooling and heating of the water machine more constant and comfortable
Anyone who has studied physics knows that the specific heat of water is much larger than that of freon, and its temperature rises slowly and its temperature drops slowly.
When the indoor temperature reaches the set value, the built-in water pump will run as usual after the air conditioner main engine stops, and the water in the main engine will be continuously sent to the room.
In this process, the water plays the role of buffer zone, and the indoor temperature should be relatively constant, so there will be no sudden rise/fall due to the shutdown of the air conditioner host, and the comfort is better.
In addition, after the energy storage tank is added to the whole air-conditioning water machine system, the water replenishing capacity of the system will be increased, the indoor temperature will be more constant, and the indoor comfort will be further enhanced.
Reason 3: The coolant is water, and there will be no dehumidification in winter heating, making the room more comfortable
The air conditioner fluorine machine is an indoor machine where freon enters directly. In the process of cooling and heating, freon will change from gas to liquid to realize temperature adjustment.
In summer, the evaporation temperature of the fluorine machine indoor unit is low, and the dew point will be lower. The water in the indoor air will condense on the surface of the fin and be discharged outdoors; In winter, when heating, the gas freon will be pressurized into high-temperature and high-pressure gas. When entering the heat exchanger of indoor unit, it will condense and liquefy to release heat. When returning air, the moisture in the air will also be condensed and precipitated, and the moisture in the indoor air will gradually decrease.
In addition, most air-conditioning fluorine machines use top-down air supply mode, which has a strong sense of wind, and the evaporation of moisture in the air and skin surface will be accelerated, and people will feel drier indoors.
In summer, the air-conditioning water machine will also have condensation due to the low temperature of the fan coil unit, which is much less than the air-conditioning fluorine machine; In winter, because the coolant of air-conditioning water machine is water, the specific heat is large, so there will be no indoor dehumidification phenomenon like air-conditioning fluorine machine, the indoor air humidity is constant, the evaporation of human body moisture is slow, and the sense of comfort is better than that of air-conditioning fluorine machine.
