First, let’s understand what fan coil static pressure is, in fact, very simple. It refers to the pressure of the fan in the fan coil unit. The unit of static pressure is PA.  Generally, the outlet static pressure below 30Pa is called low static pressure, and the length of air supply pipe shall not exceed 3m.  The outlet static pressure above 100Pa is called high static pressure, and the allowable length of air supply pipe is above 8m.  Fan coil units have static pressure values of 12pa, 30pa and 50pa, generally higher than 40Pa are called high static pressure.
From the point of view of fan coil, the larger the wind pressure, the greater the air volume, the stronger the air supply. If placed on the fan coil, the higher the static pressure value, the greater the air supply force of the fan coil, so the farther the air supply distance will be. Therefore, in general large shopping malls, the air supply distance is relatively far, and the high static pressure fan coil will be selected more.
High static pressure fan coil has both advantages and disadvantages. The advantages have been mentioned above. Its disadvantage is that the fan coil has a higher operating noise, so it is not suitable for occasions with special requirements for noise.

What is the relationship between fan coils static pressure and cooling?

The higher the static pressure is, the farther the air supply distance is. If the air supply is long distance, the air volume will definitely not reach the low static pressure fan coil. The cooling speed will naturally be slow, and the cooling effect is not ideal. The higher the static pressure is, the larger the air supply volume is, and the cooling demand will naturally be met. In fact, the static pressure of fan coil has no direct and essential connection with the cooling, but it has a direct impact. Therefore, this is also a problem that users have to consider when choosing fan coils.
